By accessing or using AanThai (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AanThai is a Thai language learning platform that provides Thai-language stories with translation, audio, vocabulary tools, and spaced repetition review. The Service is provided by AanThai (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use most features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Free and Premium Tiers

AanThai offers a free tier with access to a selection of stories and an AanThai Premium subscription with full access to all content. We reserve the right to change which stories are available on the free tier at any time. The specific features of each tier are described on the pricing page and may change over time.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

AanThai Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on each billing date.

• You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on AanThai — including stories, audio, illustrations, and software — is the property of AanThai or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our explicit written permission. Dictionary data is sourced from Wiktionary (CC BY-SA) and LEXiTRON by NECTEC under their respective licences.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content without permission
• Share your account credentials with others
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Language learning outcomes depend on individual effort and we make no guarantees about learning results.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AanThai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.
